Disappointing. Based on what I saw Donnarumma had a mediocre year and
made more mistakes than usual. Bellingham scored lots of goals, but did
so playing for a Real Mardid with Kroos playing well, and Vinicius and
ROdrigo to tie opposing defenders in knots. I think his so-so
performance in the Euros might be a truer representation of where he
    stands right now.

Van Dijk's performances have become more and more languid and
nonchalant. he is not the force he was 3-5 seasons ago.

Only one vote for Wirtz? That is very sad, considering he was the
dominant and driving force behind a contender for top team in the world
    over the last 12 months.

I'm new around here and soccer is my second sport meaning my votes are
based on what I saw of these players on DAZN / Fubo during the season.
Not in the off-season international competitions. Overall I liked what I
saw of Bellingham in the Real Madrid XI, of course, he was surrounded by
other top players who were of equal talent. I could understand so-so performances from top name players in off-season tournaments after their
    long regular-season.

    Welcome!

and soccer is my second sport meaning my votes are
based on what I saw of these players on DAZN / Fubo during the season.
Not in the off-season international competitions. Overall I liked what I

Certainly Bellingham had an impressive season. Many of the potential
candidates for Player of the Season are in star-studded squads, so I
wouldn't hold it against him that Kroos, Vini and Rodrygo made his work
easier. Certainly clutch last-minute goals in important games leave an impression. Bottom line, picking Bellingham was a perfectly reasonable
    choice.

For what it's worth, here is WhoScored's team of the season, based on statistical output:

    Donnarumma
    Kimmich, Van Dijk, Buongiorno, Mittelstadt
    Saka, Bellingham, Rodri, Mbappe
    Kane, Guirassy

    And in terms of ratings:
    Kane 7.82
    Bellingham 7.81
    Guirassy 7.73
    Mbappe 7.71
    Sane 7.68
    Saka 7.67
    Musiala 7.65
    Rodri 7.62
    Olise 7.61
    De Bruyne 7.60

Smooooth... You might as well have put an asterisk next to the names of
    your Fantasy Scout picks.

Yes, I should have! But it's never too late to fix this:

    Donnarumma (*)
Kimmich, Van Dijk, Buongiorno (*), Mittelstadt
    Saka, Bellingham, Rodri(*), Mbappe
    Kane(*), Guirassy
