Around 1999 or 2000, I was looking online for electric guitar information and came across the Lace Helix electric guitar, described here: http://www.harmony-central.com/Events/WNAMM99/AGI-Lace/Helix.html

The most innovative things about the guitar were its unique, contoured body shape and its twisted neck, intended for ergonomics. Lace is also known for their electric guitar pickups - They made the "Sensor" pickups that Fender used in the 80s to early 90s, and Lace continues to make pickups today.

The Lace Helix guitar had a very short production run; thus, the guitars became very rare. Now it looks like they are being produced again: http://www.lacemusic.com/guitars/electric/helix_guitar.php

They look basically the same; however, I think they have a regular neck (not twisted). I think it still looks like it would be a cool guitar to own, though.
