Not with Kodu. I have looked, and looked (and looked!)... no socket API *at all*. Bummer. I am not sure if you can use a .DLL to provide this functionality, it may be worth a dig.
All is not lost tho, if you are intent on network coding, XNA game developers lab from Microsoft is free (it's basically Visual Studio
with a ton of shit to make it a game development environment), and compiles for Windows and XBox360. You can also, for a fee, publish into the XBox marketplace.
As for keyboard interface--that would work. There are little keyboards
you stick into the bottom of your XBox360 controller (for MSN, etc)... I've seen them for £20ish, I think.
